Tom Wood

1978-2003 - Years Liverpool

There are days when the rain flows, where all the cities like Liverpool ‘Patsy sang in the 80s. If no one remembers the song, everyone knows the importance of the European Capital of Culture 2008. For 30 years, Tom Wood has captured the energy and soul of the streets and inhabitants of this city of red brick, the birthplace of the Beatles. The work of this photographer, Martin Parr describes as ‘neglected genius of photography UK’ alternates between documentary and visual experience. Sit Down Gallery in Paris exhibited his best works liverpuldiennes, from November 5 to January 21, 2012.
